Two long-time political observers will offer their opinions about the results of the recent elections, local state and national, and their predictions for the future.


Justin Sayfie is an attorney and government relations consultant at Blosser & Sayfie and publishes SayfieReview.com (http://www.sayfiereview.com), an online publication focused on Florida politics, and was Communications Director, Chief Speechwriter and Senior Policy Advisor to former Governor Jeb Bush.

Buddy Nevins, has been a  journalist for over 40 years, at various times a reporter, an editor and a political columnist for the Fort Lauderdale News, now The Sun-Sentinel. He currently runs the web site Browardbeat.com ( http://www.browardbeat.com) which features breaking news and analysis of local government and politics.

Special Guests:

The Honorable Chip LaMarca (http://electchip.com ), who was elected to the County Commission after the incumbent, County Mayor Ken Keechel, did not debate him at last month's Forum meeting, will speak briefly about his election and plans for the County Commission.

Joel Gustafson long-time resident and vice-chair of the Board of Commissioners of the North Broward Hospital District (http://www.browardhealth.org/?id=1382&sid=1 ) will provide a brief update about the district's "privitization" plan.
