Tired of partisanship, talking heads and sound bites?
Wonder what happened to "reasoned discussion"
in politics and government?

John Hart, former Broward County Commissioner
and business leader, will discuss

Dialogues in Democracy are community based discussions leading to a national conversation regarding the critical challenges facing our democracy. In a sense, they are the Town Hall, Tavern and farmhouse gatherings of the 1770's for today's concerned and enlightened citizens to participate in civil discourse.

The Dialogues are non-partisan and diverse by design, encouraging the exchange of ideas through deliberative thought and respectful communication rather than sound bites, non-fact based positions and vitriol.

The hope is to raise the level of discourse, from a community based perspective (as Tip O'Neill said, "all politics is local") that will influence elected officials (local, state and national) to conduct the public's agenda in a reasonable, thoughtful, ethical, and civil manner."
